DIVORCE

Divorce is the legal procedure that dissolves the marriage and puts an end to the conjugal union (and all its civil, social and property effects).
Divorce can be done extrajudicially (at a registry office) or judicially.
In judicial divorce, there are two types of action: Divorce, Recognition and Dissolution of Stable Union, which aim to formalize the end of the relationship and establish agreements on the division of assets, alimony, custody of children and other rights and duties arising from the union.
